Incoming & Outgoing Quality Inspector 406 views

Duties

• Maintain effective communication and co-ordination with Logistics and Quality regarding
  products and suppliers.
• Inspect and verify (incoming and outgoing) variety of helicopter parts, assemblies,
  materials and equipment against approved specifications.
• Inspect and verify incoming/outgoing goods against Airbus, ISO9001-2015, FAA, EASA
  and CAA Approved Standards, packaging and documentation.
• Quarantine Parts that, has no documentation (c of c, airworthiness certificate, delivery
  note, and invoice), and route to quarantine store with an updated register.
• Know and comprehend technical drawings, certification documentation, warehousing
  processes, procurement, regulatory requirements etc.
• Keep accurate, neat and legible records of inspections/audits done.
• Filing and archiving of documentation, records and certificates.
• Identify possible non-conforming, suspected unapproved parts and reject items not
  conforming to specification/requirements
• Process non-conforming, suspected unapproved parts according to current procedures.
• Advise Quality Manager of product quality trends, technical and aviation safety hazards.
• Quality control / receiving inspection qualification or equivalent
• SUP (suspected unapproved parts), FOD (foreign object debris), DG (dangerous goods) –
  advantage if training has been done.

Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position
• Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel (intermediate proficiency)
• Knowledge of ISO standards, SACAA standards, Log cards and Part numbers
• Training in SUP (Suspected unapproved parts), FOD (Foreign object debris) and DG (
  Dangerous Goods)
• Aviation background (3-5 years), preferable from the Aviation receiving environment
• Must be able to understand and carry out an Audit IAW Airbus and CAA Standards.
