Draftsman

Available position for an experienced Draftsman on a 1-year fixed term contract. The job entails
doing 3D modelling of aircraft components and assemblies as well as creating and updating detailed
drawings. The Draftsperson is also expected to liaise with engineers, factory staff and communicate
with customers. The successful applicant will also be required to troubleshoot production issues
relating to drawings of parts, assemblies and jigs.

Minimum Requirements

• Drafting diploma and/or equivalent training
• Minimum of 3/4 years full-time experience with 3D modelling and drawings using
  SolidWorks
• SolidWorks experience on sheet metal and surface modelling
• A background of aircraft components and sheet metal assembly techniques will be
  advantageous
• Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques
• Good at communicating written technical information
• Good knowledge of materials and different manufacturing methods
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficient
• Attention to detail is vital
