Quality Inspector & Production Assistant

A company in Johannesburg South is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector & Production Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the aircraft manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection of Non-Type Certified Aircraft
• Conduct inspections at various assembly stages, including:
  • Aircraft subassemblies
  • Paintwork quality
  • Engine installations
  • Control rigging
  • Electrical harnesses and installations
• Airworthiness and Integrity Inspections
• Assist the Chief Inspector in performing quality checks and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and airworthiness standards
• Support the aircraft assembly process by working on the production line, assembling aircraft parts and ensuring adherence to manufacturing specifications

Essential Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in aviation quality control, inspection, or aircraft assembly is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Technical understanding of aircraft components and systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
