Aircraft Maintenance Planner / CAMO Planner

  • Build-up and ensure validation of aircraft model trees
  • Load and ensure validation of the aircraft asset tree, including maintenance plans
  • Guarantee that all model, assets and referential are compliant with approved TCH data and/ or any airworthiness standards (including Authority requirements)
  • Ensure loadings and updates of all data for the contracted aircraft in services (including customer data analysis and cleaning)
  • Develop and update customised maintenance program
  • Plan all maintenance tasks in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Program and/ or approved data
  • Ensure that all applicable Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives and Operational Directives are applied on time
  • Co-ordinate the daily work in accordance with airworthiness and configuration issues and report on it
  • Lead Airworthiness activities and organise work orders releases related to the planned maintenance activities
  • Secure and check all records related to aircraft airworthiness and configurations (including archiving issues)
  • Prepare, on request, all documentation related to customer request including any documentation to be provided to the local Authority
  • Ensure training / OJT of the customer on aircraft model and asset tree creation, data loading process, maintenance process, and tool use

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years experienced in airworthiness management activities
  • General knowledge of general Civil and Military airworthiness and maintenance regulatory environments (PARTM / 145… or equivalent)
  • Airworthiness management tool (Rusada/Envision or equivalent: Amasys, Ramco)
  • Assertive and confident personality


  • Annual salary of R400 000 to R500 000 p/a
  • Safe accommodation and transport
  • Relocation cost to Tanzania will be provided

This is a full-time contract position at a helicopter Aircraft Maintenance Organisation based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The successful candidate will have to relocate to Dar es Salaam on a permanent basis. Previous experience in Aircraft Maintenance planning and military helicopter operations is required.
