This position is based at a Helicopter Sales company in Johannesburg. Salary on offer is up to R650 000 per year.

Main Objectives

  • Marketing plan: Compilation and active management of sales funnel in ensuring achievement of allocated bookings target
  • Commercial proposals and contracts: Responsible for drafting and submitting to the EXCO team for approval all commercial proposals, costings and contracts in relation to allocated customer base and in line with company procedures in place
  • Negotiations: Responsible for constructive negotiations with customers taking into account all practical constraints (product availability, delivery dates, customisation, etc.) within allocated delegation
  • Contract Reviews: Upon booking, ensuring of a successful and timely transition to Contracts Office for execution of delivery
  • Customer reports: Maintaining of a record of all customer visits and correspondence


  • At least 5 -7 years of Marketing, rotorcraft/other aircraft Sales
  • At least 5- 7 years aviation industry experience (technical or business)
  • At least 5 years’ experience drafting contracts and costing
  • Proven ability to effectively interface with the Customer
  • Proficiency in understanding customer mission profiles
  • Experience in travelling to various countries (SADEC region), knowledge and understanding of geographical/country-specific challenges/dynamics
  • A relevant university degree in business and/or commercial fields would be advantageous
  • Microsoft Office proficient
