Compliance Officer

A charter company based in the Seychelles are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Main Objective of the Position

The primary objective of the Compliance Officer is to ensure that the company operates in full compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards governing helicopter and fixed-wing charter operations. This role is critical in maintaining the company’s commitment to safety, operational excellence, and legal adherence. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for monitoring, developing, and implementing policies and procedures to meet regulatory obligations, conducting audits, and liaising with aviation authorities. Additionally, they will provide guidance to management and staff to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant qualification in aviation management, regulatory compliance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or safety management within the aviation industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations, including local and international standards (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance and safety management systems
• Strong understanding of helicopter and fixed-wing operations, including maintenance, crew training, and operational safety
