A company based at Rand Airport is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the aviation industry. This position is specifically focused on generating sales a renowned training academy, and premier pilot training center. The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the long-term success of both operations. They are looking for a candidate who can think outside the box, implement innovative sales strategies, and effortlessly generate sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue.
  • Identify potential sales opportunities, target markets, and key decision-makers within the aviation industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, airlines, corporate organisations, and other
    stakeholders
  • Proactively generate leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, promotional campaigns, and
    digital content
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new sales
    opportunities and stay ahead of the competition
  • Analyse sales data, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management, highlighting
    achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
  • Enhance the customer experience by tailoring sales strategies to meet evolving customer needs
  • Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Aviation-related qualifications would be advantageous
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the aviation industry – experience in training or
    education sales would be highly desirable
  • Strong ability to think creatively and implement innovative sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive mindset to overcome challenges and achieve sales
    targets
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales management tools
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings
