Senior Aircraft Sales Executive

A leading Aircraft Sales organisation based in Johannesburg is looking for an Aircraft Sales Executive for an exciting career opportunity at the company.

Duties

  • Proactively source aircraft/buyer/seller leads for the database
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Manage risks, including operational, financial, and reputational risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate them
  • Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Track, collate and interpret sales figures
  • Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion, such as new products or services, new markets, or partnerships
  • Keep up to date with developments in the aviation industry, including regulatory changes, new technology, and market trends
  • Closely study the current market trends to improve our offering and identify enhancements
  • Actively source aircraft stock to buy or to broker the sale thereof
  • Conduct informal aircraft valuations and market related pricing
  • Arrange aircraft demonstrations and viewings
  • Negotiate aircraft sales contracts and design packages for clients
  • Liaise and coordinate successful delivery of aircraft
  • Respond to customer queries, offering them professional advice and solutions
  • Networking – attend client events and create networking opportunities
  • Participate in fly-inns, air shows, trade exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing or sales activities
  • Create, build and manage supplier relationships
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships within the industry

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 Years Minimum Aviation Experience
  • Aviation related qualification or relevant Aviation license
  • Previous Sales Experience preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards, as well as industry trends and developments
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen and deal making ability
  • Have a well-developed network within the aviation industry that can be activated immediately
  • Have an informed and insightful view of the current state and future of the industry
